- Dijagnoza oboljenja bakteriozne prirode povrtarskih biljaka, jabučastih, koštičavih i jezgrastih voćaka i vinove loze;
- Detekcija, identifikacija i karakterizacija fitopatogenih bakterija primenom konvencionalnih, seroloških i molekularnih metoda;
- Proučavanje biologije bakteriofaga kao prirodnih neprijatelja ekonomski najznačajnijih fitopatogenih bakterija.
- Proučavanje bioloških mera zaštite bilja korišćenjem bakteriofaga i bakterija antagonista;
