Research field
Diagnosis of phytopathogenic bacteria, phytoplasmas and fungi. Molecular identification and characterization of phytopathogenic bacteria and fungi (conventional and real-time PCR, tail-PCR, RFLP). Serology in the identification of phytopathogenic bacteria (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay - ELISA, immunofluorescence test - IF). Phytoquarantine - aspect of regulation and application; implementation of methods for detection of quarantine pathogens on seed and planting material. Epidemiology and control of plant pathogens. Evaluation of biological efficiency of pesticides, biocides and disinfectants. Biological control in plant protection.
