Research area

  • Examination of quality, physiological age and viability of potato seed tubers depending on production conditions, storage conditions and germination temperature; influence of production conditions, origin, weight of parent tuber, variety, type and quantity of fertilizers and different irrigation systems on morphological and productive characteristics of potatoes
  • Aeroponics - a system for the production of virus-free mini potato tubers
  • Investigating morphology of the quarantine nematodes from the group of longidorids and cystic nematodes; resistance-sensitivity of potato varieties to Globodera rostochiensis Ro1. Introduction of new potato varieties
  • Biochemical and physiological tests of seed germination (field, vegetable, fruit and forest crops, flowers and medicinal plants)
  • Investigations of the influence of metabolites of autochthonous isolates of PGP-bacteria on the development of ponies during the determination of seed germination for vegetable and field species and potato tubers
  • Production of seeds of plant species in different cultivation systems (conventional, integral and organic).
